Denise Essence is more than just a brand; it’s a testament to resilience and self-empowerment. I am Denise, the founder, and I spent 13 years working as a surgical technician, a profession I was passionate about. However, my journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with lupus. This condition brought along various health challenges, including difficulty walking and swelling in my legs, eventually leading me to leave my job in September 2018. For the last seven years, I took time to focus on my health, and it was a challenging period, but I never lost the love for self-care and looking and feeling my best.

 

Throughout this time, as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, I found strength in my family. One thing I love to do is get dressed and glam up, regardless of whether I have somewhere to go or not. A year ago, I decided to share my daily routine on social media in the hope that I would encourage others to do the same, even when they’re not feeling their best. 

 

One day, while visiting a local mall, I purchased a body cream from a boutique. When I tried it on,  I was disappointed by the scent and texture. It sparked an idea: if I could create a body cream that suited my own preferences, I could share that with others as well. And that’s how Denise Essence was born!

 

I dove into research, experimented with natural ingredients, and created a line of body creams that reflect my passion for self-care and quality. Denise Essence is now a celebration of feeling good, inside and out.
